【Spotify】How do I change my language on Spotify?

On Android

If you’re using an Android phone or tablet, you can change the Spotify app language from your device settings.

  1. Open the Settings app on your Android device.
  2. Go to System or General management, then select Languages & input or Languages.
  3. Choose your preferred language and add it if it is not already listed.
  4. Move your preferred language to the top of the list, or select it as your default language.
  5. Restart Spotify to apply the change.

Note: The exact menu names may vary depending on your Android device model and system version.

On Mac and Windows

If you’re using Spotify on a desktop computer, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Spotify app and log in.
  2. Click your profile picture or account name in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Scroll to the Language section.
  5. Choose your preferred language from the list.
  6. Restart Spotify if prompted.

After restarting, the Spotify desktop app should display in the selected language.

On iOS

If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app on your device.
  2. Scroll down and tap Spotify.
  3. Tap Language.
  4. Select your preferred language.
  5. Close and reopen Spotify to apply the change.

Note: If the Language option is not available, make sure your iOS system and Spotify app are updated to the latest version.

How to Add or Change a Language on Spotify

Spotify does not require a separate “add language” process inside the app. In most cases, you only need to select your preferred language from your device settings or from Spotify’s desktop settings.
Once the language is changed, restart Spotify to make sure the new language is applied.
