【Netflix】 How to Clear Data and Cache of Netflix

For Android smartphones and tablets

If you use the Netflix app:

• Open your device’s “Settings” app.
• Scroll down and tap “Apps” or “Application Manager”.
• Find and select “Netflix”.
• Tap “Storage”. You should see the options “Clear Cache” and “Clear Data”.
• Tap “Clear Cache” to remove temporary app files.

If you need to reset the app to its default state, tap “Clear Data”. Please note that this will delete all app data, including settings and account information.

• Open your browser app.
• Go to the settings menu and look for “Privacy” or “Storage”.
• Select “Clear browsing data” or “Clear cache”.
• Choose to clear cached files and cookies.

For iOS smartphones and tablets

If you use the Netflix app:

iOS does not allow you to clear the cache for an individual app directly. If the app is running slowly or not working properly, try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

• Go to “Settings” > “General” > “iPhone Storage” or “iPad Storage”.
• Find and select “Netflix”.
• Tap “Delete App”.
• Download and install Netflix again from the App Store.

If you watch Netflix through Safari:

• Open the “Settings” app.
• Scroll down and tap “Safari”.
• Select “Clear History and Website Data”.

For Windows laptops

Clearing browser cache, using Google Chrome as an example:

• Open Google Chrome.
• Click the three-dot icon in the top-right corner.
• Select “More tools” > “Clear browsing data”.
• In the pop-up window, check “Cached images and files”.
• Click “Clear data”.

For macOS laptops

Clearing browser cache, using Safari as an example:

• Open Safari.
• From the menu bar, select “Safari” > “Clear History”.
• Choose to clear all history or select a specific time range.
• Confirm the action to remove history and cached data.
